Mr Kenneth Foo is a Chartered Company Secretary, practising since 1991 under his firm of KL Management & Secretarial Services. As a Practising Chartered Secretary, he offers advice and consulting on corporate secretarial, accounts and finance, management consultation and planning, company administration and company law matters. Mr Kenneth Foo attended TAR College in 1980 where he sat for and passed the examinations conducted by the Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators, United Kingdom in 1982. Subsequently, he also sat for and passed the examinations conducted by the University of London (External) and obtained the Bachelor’s Degree in Law (2nd Class Honours) in 1992. The following year, he obtained his Certificate in Legal Practice. Kenneth has worked in various public listed companies such as Faber Merlin PLC, Pahang Consolidated PLC where he was involved in the corporate secretarial and share registration departments. He joined Management & Secretarial Services Sdn Bhd in 1986 as Executive Director and managed the secretarial portfolio of clients that included Emporium Holdings Berhad, Klasse Department Store Sdn Bhd, Kian Joo Can Factory Berhad and various other companies under the Emporium Holdings Group.

He ventured into his own practice, KL Management & Secretarial Services in 1991. Kenneth served as a Council member of the Malaysian Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators (MAICSA) from 2006 to 2009 and has been a member of various Committees in MAICSA since 2003 until to-date. Kenneth is currently the Honorary Secretary of the Malaysian Corporate Counsel Association, a non-governmental organization for non-practising lawyers and corporate counsels. Aside from his commitments to MAICSA, Kenneth was also a regular contribution for The Chartered Secretary, a professional journal of MAICSA circulated to all its members and the MAICSA Perspective Column that appeared in The Star newspaper every fortnight in 2001 to 2004. He is also an adjunct lecturer and tutor at Kolej Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman in Case Studies, Company Law, Malaysian Company Secretarial Practice, Corporate Governance and Commercial Laws of Malaysia. Kenneth is an experience speaker and trainer, conducting half-day and full day seminars in corporate secretarial practice & procedures, directors’ training events and corporate governance topics for MAICSA, the Malaysian Association of Company Secretaries (MACS), the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and COMTRAC, the training arm of the Companies Commission of Malaysia. Besides these three organizations, Kenneth has been invited by MICG and training companies to give talks and deliver papers on corporate secretarial and corporate governance topics.
