Gates himself has said that creativity is less of an individual characteristic than it is an “emergent property” that surfaces when people convene around a problem. This way of thinking is beginning to align more and more with the way people want to work.
By 2020, Millennials will make up 50 percent of the workforce, and 88 percent of them currently say they they prefer an environment that is collaborative over one that’s competitive.
